I believe I’ve mention This Week in Science here before. It’s a science program on the local, free format radio station at the college, also available by podcast. One of the things I like about the show, aside from making me laugh and keeping me informed on world robot domination, is that the music they open and close the show with is exclusively music from small bands on science themes. They put out a CD once a year during fundraiser time, and I always buy it.
This week, they closed their show with a song I hadn’t heard before and I went from doing the dishes to dancing around my kitchen in two bars, with Luke laughing so hard at me that half chewed-bananas were coming out his nose.
I went straight to the iTunes music store and there it was. So ladies and gentlemen, meet Drew Vics. Physics for Two is The Track, but the whole album is pretty good. You can also get it on CDBaby for you physical media folks.
Let me put it this in perspective for you. I was going to watch an episode of Angel this morning while I folded the laundry. Instead, I’ve listened to this album... twice.
