I had been planning on going as a witch for Halloween this year, but with the amount of sleep I've been getting, I think a zombie would be more appropriate. It would certainly be easier. I'd need no makeup and very little acting. It'd be a great disguise right up until my cousin, convinced the end had finally come, shot me, with a tear glistening in the corner of his eye.
Hmm.... Maybe not such a great costume.
I certainly feel like someone's been munching on my brains. Last night I was watching my instructor demonstrate a combination in ballet. Then she turned around to cue up the stereo and I realized I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do. I looked down at my pointe shoes. I hope you guys caught all that because mission control up here is having some staffing issues.
I've been up late working on a few projects these past nights, both work-related and elective, and Luke's not sleeping particularly well so between the two, I'm a little out of it. I'm stumbling through my day clutching onto a mug of tea for dear life. And don't tell me to nap when my baby naps or I'll gouge your eye out with a soup spoon. Or maybe I'll just eat your brains; anyone who says that isn't using them anyway.
Pardon me. I might be a touch grouchy.
My parents called last night. "You know, honey, in a few years you will have forgotten all about this stage." This is why I keep a journal, folks. It's important to keep close track of one's memories. Don't neglect your brains.
